A 20-year-old young woman reported to the police that she had been raped after leaving a private party on Sunday, February 4, in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, near Place de la Bastille. Two of the three suspects were arrested, not without difficulty, by the police.

It is 7 a.m., Sunday February 4, when a young woman of 20, drunk, leaves a private party. She is then approached by three individuals of African type, then taken by force into the public toilets on rue de la Roquette, in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, near Place de la Bastille.

The two attackers flee with her cell phone, but she manages to contact the police station. In her statement to the police, the young woman stated that she had been raped by these individuals.

The two suspects taken into custody

Immediately, thanks to the victim's description, the police located two of the three suspects near the crime scene. They question them not without difficulty, since one of them violently kicks the officials and spits on them. One is French, aged 36, and the second is Guinean, aged 39. Both are in police custody in the premises of the first judicial police district.

Two months ago, another case of rape in the middle of Paris was brought to light by Europe 1. In February 2023, two Brazilian tourists were sexually assaulted on the Champ-de-Mars, at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, by two men who fled. One of the two attackers was arrested at the beginning of last December.
