Speaking at her annual report to parliament, Zurabishvili, whose term expires in the fall of 2024, said she felt the enormous power of this oath.

“Someone may want to bring me into the arena of political struggle and present me as the leader of some political force, position or opposition. In vain! I have walked this road,” RIA Novosti quotes the Georgian leader as saying.

Zurabishvili's statement came after members of the ruling Georgian Dream announced her plans to create a party for the 2024 parliamentary elections.

Earlier it was reported that the ruling Georgian Dream party was headed by former Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.
