The Diet was scheduled to begin substantive deliberations on the new fiscal year's budget bill at the House of Representatives Budget Committee from 9 a.m. on the 5th, with Prime Minister Kishida and all cabinet members in attendance. The opening of the committee has been delayed due to ongoing negotiations between the ruling and opposition parties regarding the issue.

In response to the issue surrounding the faction's political funding party, last week the Liberal Democratic Party sent to the opposition party a document listing the political groups and amounts that received kickbacks, based on the income and expenditure reports revised by the Abe faction and the Nikai faction. However, the opposition party requested that it be clarified which member each political group belongs to.

For this reason, on the morning of the 5th, the Liberal Democratic Party submitted materials to the Constitutional Democratic Party specifying the members who represent each political group.

In response, the Liberal Democratic Party's Diet Policy Committee Chairman Hamada and the Constitutional Democratic Party's Diet Policy Committee Chairman Azumi held a meeting, and the new fiscal year budget was scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. with Prime Minister Kishida and all cabinet members in attendance. We discussed how to handle the substantive deliberation of the proposal.

Subsequently, the opening of the committee has been delayed due to ongoing discussions between the ruling and opposition parties, including a meeting between the leaders of the National Assembly Committees of the four opposition parties: the Constitutional Democratic Party, the Japan Restoration Party, the Japanese Communist Party, and the Democratic Party of the People.
