The message clarifies that a criminal case was opened on the basis of violation of labor protection requirements, which resulted in the death of a person. According to the investigation, the owner of the cafe kept the bear in an enclosure on the premises of the establishment. A man worked in the same cafe without official registration.
“On January 31 of this year, while clearing snow from the roof of a cafe, a worker fell onto a cage with a bear, as a result, the animal attacked a man, and he died on the spot from his injuries,” the press service noted.
Earlier it was reported that an investigation was initiated into the death of a man as a result of an accident in a cafe on the M-1 Moscow-Minsk highway.
