A Public Election Observation Headquarters has been created in Moscow

The headquarters was headed by the chairman of the Moscow Public Chamber commission for the development of civil society and public control, Vadim Kovalev.

“Our main task does not change – ensuring maximum openness and transparency of the electoral process. For this, we are seriously preparing and forming a Corps of observers: some of them work directly at the sites, others conduct video surveillance from the Headquarters in shifts around the clock,” he said.

The deputy heads of the Public Headquarters for Election Observation are Alexander Asafov, Chairman of the Expert Council for Social Research and Monitoring the Mood of Muscovites - he will oversee information support, and Ilya Massukh, Chairman of the Commission for the Development of Domestic IT Solutions and Technologies in the Smart City Concept. , – he will also head the Electronic Headquarters.
