The incident occurred during the night of Sunday, at a small American post in northeastern Jordan, near the border with Syria. At least 34 people are said to have been injured.

The country condemns the attack
During Sunday evening, Jordan condemns the "terrorist attack" and says that it cooperates with the United States to secure the border and fight against terrorism.
