While the prosecution argued in the trial that the driver was driving in a careless manner, the driver's defenders argue that the circumstances on the bridge created a trap. The driver thought the two lanes would continue because he saw no sign, and his lawyer says it should have been better signposted.

Two files became one
When two lanes became one, the lorry was forced into the oncoming lane through an opening in the center guardrail and collided with a passenger car. The driver of the passenger car died and the passenger of the car was seriously injured.
A driver always has his own responsibility, but now the Swedish Transport Administration admits that the signage on the bridge was inadequate.
"Able to improve the conditions"
