Today, Al Jazeera broadcast new scenes it obtained of the battles between the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades - the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) - and the Israeli army in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
The scenes showed fighters from the Al-Qassam Brigades targeting Israeli army vehicles on the outskirts of the city of Khan Yunis.
The video broadcast by the military media affiliated with the Al-Qassam Brigades showed a captured Israeli drone.
In his comment on the video, military and strategic expert Major General Fayez Al-Duwairi said that the occupation tanks are located inside alleys; This means that their freedom of movement is limited, and thus they become an easy target for the resistance, stressing that the fighters’ weapons are neither thermally nor laser-guided; Rather, it is directed by sight only.
Regarding the drone, Al-Duwairi confirmed that it is not the first to be seized, pointing out that it is a drone that carries very advanced cameras, provides three-dimensional images and covers a wide area, and some of them are suicidal, even against individuals.
