- We are looking for which individual it is. There are no known wolf territories in this area, so it is a wandering wolf, says Emelie Nilsson.
Four sheep are thus dead and another injured. However, that is not enough for a possible application for protective hunting.
No shelter hunting
- For a wandering wolf, the guidelines are that there should be three attacks in the same area before protective hunting can be considered, says Emelie Nilsson at the county administrative board.
There have been no recent wolf attacks in the Ängelholm area, according to the county administrative board. The most recent attack in northwestern Scania took place last year within Söderåsen's wolf district.
