, a porn film star in the 2000s, has been found dead in a home in Oklahoma with her boyfriend

Lieutenant Francisco Franco, of the Moore Police Department, explained that the officers went on Wednesday morning for a social control to the house where Jane and her partner were staying and found them dead, according to the
New York Times
.
Franco specified that the cause of death was believed to be a drug
overdose
, although the investigation is open.
Jesse Jane started at the Hooters
restaurant chain
and participated in various beauty pageants before jumping into the porn industry.
But Jane became famous for her participation in the
Pirates
of Adult Film
saga
, the highest-budget film series of its genre. Additionally, she hosted two shows for
the Playboy Channel
.
"Jesse Jane was an actress at a time when adult films were seen all over the world and promotions were massive. She made sure to give it her all, not only in acting, but also in promotion," says Brian Gross, publicist for the porn industry, in a message sent to the
New York Times.
