This was announced by the rector of the Presidential Academy Alexey Komissarov.
In a video message published on his Telegram channel, he noted that the academy had decided that all students who are in the Northwestern Military District zone will continue their studies free of charge.
In a conversation with RT, Komissarov said that before the New Year he talked with students and employees who are in the zone of a special military operation, including wounded guys who were in the hospital.
“And I was asked several times whether there would be discounts on training or any additional conditions for SVO participants.
It is clear that our fighters should receive all the necessary help at their university.
Therefore, we decided that everyone who studies at RANEPA and takes part in the SVO will continue their studies
free of charge,” he explained.
In September, the rector of RANEPA said that in 2023, the university accepted 64 thousand applicants.
