Opening a restaurant in Jordan called “7th of October” (social networking sites)
Jordanian social media platforms circulated the opening of a shawarma restaurant in Karak Governorate, southern Jordan, bearing the name “October 7,” the date on which the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), launched the Battle of al-Aqsa Flood.

But the name of the restaurant and the Arab celebration of it did not please the Israelis to the extent that the leader of the Israeli opposition, Yair Lapid, condemned the opening of the restaurant, and called on the Jordanian government to condemn this matter. Israeli newspapers also circulated the news of naming the restaurant on “October 7th”.
