Guest of 8 p.m. on TF1, the Minister of the Interior, Gérald Darmanin, returned to the decision of the Constitutional Council to censor a large part of the text of the immigration law which had been adopted in the Senate. All that remains is for it to be promulgated by the Head of State. A promulgation which will take place “in the coming hours”.

The government's bill on immigration will be promulgated "in the coming hours", Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin said Thursday evening on TF1 8 p.m., while the Constitutional Council has largely censored the text.

"It is up to the President of the Republic to promulgate the law. I had an exchange with him, he will do it (...) in the coming hours", underlined Gérald Darmanin, who indicated that he would bring together Friday morning "all the prefects" to "apply the law".
