Earlier, the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, said that Russia promptly informed Ukraine about the transportation of Ukrainian prisoners of war by an Il-76 military transport aircraft, which was shot down in the Belgorod region.

According to Russia's permanent representative to the OSCE, Alexander Lukashevich, Moscow expects that the shooting down of an Il-76 aircraft by the Ukrainian military in the Belgorod region will receive international condemnation, including at the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.
