According to information from Europe 1, five police officers were injured when they refused to comply early Tuesday afternoon.

Alerted by the cries of a resident of Saint-Maur-des-Fossés after an attempted home robbery, the officials launched into a chase with the fugitives who forced several roadblocks.

The three thugs were finally arrested on the highway.

According to information from Europe 1, five civil servants were injured this Tuesday early in the afternoon, after refusing to comply.

Three individuals fled in a car after a failed attempted burglary at a woman's home.

Pursued by the police, the fugitives forced several roadblocks between Saint-Maur-des-Fossés and Champigny-sur-Marne, hitting a total of four administrative vehicles.

Arrested on the highway

Turning in the wrong direction at the A86/A4 interchange, the three fleeing individuals collided with a police car which was then trying to block their way.

Despite an attempt to escape on foot, the burglars were quickly arrested and taken into custody.

Suffering from leg pain, three officials went to the hospital for further examinations.

Traumatized, a fourth police officer, who had fired a shot, was taken care of by the firefighters.

Slightly injured in the hand, a fifth police officer was also taken to hospital.

The IGPN, the police force, was contacted by the prosecution as an observer concerning the use of the weapon.
