It is reported that passengers who purchase "counted tickets" can take 20 fixed combinations of trains between stations within 90 days, and those who purchase "regular tickets" can take up to 60 fixed combinations of trains between stations within 30 days.

The former is more suitable for passengers who take no more than 20 trips within three months, while the latter is more suitable for passengers who commute frequently within a month.

In addition, the two ticket systems can only be used between a fixed mainland station in Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong and Hong Kong West Kowloon Station when purchasing, and do not support entry or exit at intermediate stations or cross-station use.

The mainland stations of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link include Futian, Shenzhen North, Guangmingcheng, Humen, Qingsheng, Dongguan South, Changping, Dongguan, Guangzhou South and Guangzhou East stations, a total of 10 stations.

Passengers can reserve relevant trains after purchasing the appropriate new ticket system on the 12306 platform. "Counted tickets" can reserve up to 4 trains at the same time, while regular tickets can reserve up to 10 trains at the same time.

After taking the bus, the number of rides will be deducted from the new ticket system. If the passenger does not take the reserved train, the passenger can cancel at any time before driving. Otherwise, the passenger will be deemed to have taken the bus and the number of rides will be deducted.

In addition, "counted tickets" and "regular tickets" at Futian Station cannot use Futian's "Flexible Travel" to change train schedules on the same day.

The relevant person in charge of the Passenger Transport Department of Guangzhou Railway Group said that as the two places deepen their integration, the demand for cross-border travel is not only greater, but also more diversified.

The two new ticket systems launched this time will benefit passengers who need to travel frequently between the two places.
