When Sara Skyttedal (KD) gets the news that she is being pushed from the party's list ahead of the EU parliamentary elections in June, she is "shocked and extremely disappointed".

According to Skyttedal, Ebba Busch was fully aware of her contacts with another party, the Sweden Democrats, but poked her when they succeeded in securing a new candidate – Alice Teodorescu Måwe.

Now Sara Skyttedal talks for the first time about why she applied to the Sweden Democrats at all.

She says that she lost KD's trial election in June last year, a message that "I got leaked to me" after the summer.

- It crushes me, she says in SVT's 30 minutes.

Searched for Ebba Busch (KD) for two weeks

Sara Skyttedal says that she then contacted the party leader Ebba Busch, to investigate the possibilities of continuing her job as an EU parliamentarian.

- Those who have followed the events of the last few days can state that if the party leader wishes to see a specific candidate, it can be quite decisive in my party, she says.

She continues.

- I've been looking for her for two weeks but get no answer.

Here I choose to have a number of conversations with the Sweden Democrats.

According to Sara Skyttedal, she ends up, by chance, in the same car as one of the Sweden Democrats' EU parliamentarians.

- Then I express my frustration with how the party is developing, I tell you that I think I will become unemployed.

We also discuss whether I can influence and help their party, she says.

Contacts with Åkesson's employees

After that conversation, Sara Skyttedal says that she is in contact with one of Jimmie Åkesson's (SD) employees.

A conversation that she describes as "unconditional".

- It's the conversation in the car, an initial phone call and then feedback after that.

Then it's over, says Sara Skyttedal.
