According to Ulf Hedlund, unit manager for property operations at the municipality, it requires upwards of 15 people and takes approximately three weeks.
- With a helicopter, it took a few hours, he says.
Half as expensive
During the weekend, the municipality tested snow removal with a helicopter.
A method that costs half as much as manual shoveling.
- Usually the cost is between 300 and 400 thousand.
This one we are probably down to half of that, says Ulf Hedlund.
