The Foreign Ministry noted that they are closely monitoring the situation with the increased threat of mass expulsion of Russian citizens from Latvia in the near future.
“This is an openly criminal attitude towards people, perhaps comparable to the atrocities of the Nazis.
Every accomplice in this atrocity in the Latvian ruling elite should know that Russia will not forgive or forget this,” the message says.
Earlier, President Vladimir Putin instructed the government to consider measures for the repatriation of compatriots in the event of their illegal deportation from unfriendly countries.
