India: French journalist threatened with expulsion

A French journalist is threatened with expulsion in India: the Hindu nationalist government of Narendra Modi criticizes her for overly critical coverage, and considers that her activities are harmful to the country's security.

This comes as Indian and foreign journalists are increasingly repressed in India, and as French President Emmanuel Macron arrives on Thursday January 25 for an official visit.
