“We can confidently say that the effect of the US-British military adventures in the Red Sea on the prospects for a Yemeni settlement will be negative,” the diplomat said.
According to him, at best, the finalization of the road map and the long-awaited launch of the political process in Yemen will be delayed.
“At worst, with a large-scale escalation of tension, we risk losing many, if not all, of the gains achieved over the past one and a half to two years,” Kudrov added.
Earlier, the United States and Britain launched strikes on eight Houthi targets in Yemen.
Also, the head of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sergei Lavrov, said that Russia categorically condemns the aggression of the United States and Great Britain against Yemen.
