Ambassador: Switzerland has lost its authority as a non-partisan international platform

This statement was made by the Russian Ambassador to Switzerland Sergei Garmonin in an interview with the Sonntags Zeitung newspaper.

At the same time, as TASS writes, the diplomat emphasized that Switzerland “consistently supports the anti-Russian line of the collective West.”

According to him, this is manifested in the fact that the country has joined illegitimate sanctions, and also proactively promotes the idea of ​​an international tribunal to condemn the Russian leadership.

It was previously reported that Switzerland plans to hold a peace conference on Ukraine in 2024.

Also, the deputy of the Swiss National Council from the Swiss People's Party (SVP), Rino Büchel, said that in order to confirm his neutrality in the Ukrainian conflict, it is necessary to invite Russian leader Vladimir Putin to Bern.
