According to the government's disaster response authorities, a total of over 270,000 people were affected by the prolonged rain, and as of the 19th, approximately 15,000 people had taken shelter in public evacuation facilities.



On the 18th, a landslide occurred in Moncayo town in the eastern province of Davao de Oro, and two houses were buried in mud.



According to local authorities, nine people have died, including five children, including a one-year-old baby, and two people are still missing.



The site is in a mountainous area where a mine is located, and the ground is likely to have been loosened due to continuous rain for three days.



The landslide affected the homes of small-scale miners.
