“We will demand that Slovakia’s air defense be provided by NATO allies.
The previous government left us without our own missile defense system, without combat aviation, and we don’t even have the promised €700 million for MiGs, which the government also transferred to Ukraine,” the minister said.
Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico previously announced that he would personally tell his Ukrainian counterpart Denis Shmygal that Bratislava would not send weapons to Kyiv, but would only transfer humanitarian aid.
