The man was caught red-handed at the beginning of December when, for the second time in a short time, a fire started in the grocery store.

The prosecutor demands that the man pay approximately SEK 2.8 million in damages to the parties concerned, for example insurance companies and property owners.

Bought petrol

According to prosecutors, the man must have bought petrol before the grocery store was set on fire, for which there are receipts.

These are small amounts, just under 1.5 liters and 3 liters respectively.

The evidence also includes several video sequences from surveillance cameras, including from the store's own cameras.

He himself has chosen not to comment on the crime during the preliminary investigation.

He is suspected of two cases of arson.
