“Hondelatte Tells: a trial for real”.

Europe 1 presents a special week from Monday January 22 to Friday January 26 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

For the first time, a radio broadcasts a criminal trial, that of Fabien Moustrou, accused of the murder of his uncle, and that of his mother, accused of failing to assist a person in danger.

In 2021, Minister of Justice Éric Dupont-Moretti passed a law called "for confidence in the judicial institution" which authorizes, for educational purposes, the broadcast of assize trials on television and radio.

Europe 1 is the first radio station to seize this opportunity.
