SVT's Lilla Aktuellt has spoken to the Wandt family before father Marcus's departure.
For the past two weeks, he has been in quarantine before the trip.
- We are ready to go and it will be great fun.
I haven't gotten nervous yet, but we'll see, says Marcus Wandt.
The children have been able to meet him twice in the past few days, but only from a distance.
And once in space, they will be able to talk to each other during two video calls.
- I'm proud of dad.
It feels surreal, soon he will go up into space, says Benjamin Wandt.
