The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip said that 350,7 people with chronic diseases are not receiving their medicines as a result of the ongoing Israeli war since October <>.

Ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qidra warned in a brief statement on Tuesday of serious health complications for these patients.

Al-Qudra called on international institutions to urgently provide medicines to people with chronic diseases.

In another statement, al-Qudra announced the depletion of nitrous gas in operating rooms and the acute shortage of other medical gases, without elaborating.

Nitrous gas is used to anesthetize patients during surgeries.

On more than one occasion, the Ministry of Health has warned of the scarcity of medicines and medical supplies in the Gaza Strip, some of which have run out due to the many injuries that reach hospitals.

A number of Palestinians in Gaza have previously said they cannot find their medicines in pharmacies or hospitals.

Since October 24, the Israeli army has been waging a devastating war on Gaza, which as of Tuesday left 285,61 dead and 154,85 injured, and caused the displacement of more than 1% (about 9.<> million people) of the Strip's population, according to the Palestinian authorities and the United Nations.
