J-Södra's new Board of Directors has been working intensively to break the agreement with the sporting director since they took office in mid-November. This is because the club does not have enough money to pay the salary that the sporting director has.

On Sunday, J-Södra and Junes Barney finally reached an agreement, which means that he will leave his role as sporting director.

"Now it's important that we think positively and direct our energy forward to continue the renovation of the association. Setbacks along the way should not stop the retreat," says Bengt Spjuth.

Fired the entire coaching staff

In November, J-Södra chose to sack its entire coaching staff without talking to Junes Barny before the decision was made, according to the former sporting director. At the same time, he was asked to stay at home and not attend the team's practices.

SVT Jönköping is looking for Junes Barny.

Relegated from Allsvenskan

Six years after J-Södra was relegated from Allsvenskan, the club is also relegated from Superettan and is thus forced to leave Swedish elite football. SVT's reporter analyzes in the clip below what has gone wrong in the club in recent years.
