"This idea is banal nonsense on the part of our 'partners' in quotation marks and the most stupid interference in the affairs and interests of the Russian Federation," RIA Novosti quoted Hempel as saying.

He stressed that the navy of non-Black Sea countries should not be in the Black Sea.

Earlier, Andrei Klimov, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, said that the deployment of the fleet of states that do not belong to the countries of the region in the Black Sea is a violation of the agreement on the use of the Bosphorus Strait.

According to the chairman of the Turkish Vatan (Motherland) party, Dogu Perincek, NATO ships will not enter the Black Sea in a situation where a Russian special military operation is being carried out in Ukraine.
