It was last week that Supreme Commander Micael Bydén issued a call for the Swedes to prepare for war.
After that, Clas Ohlson in Skellefteå sold out of crank radios. According to the company, sales of the product increased by a thousand percent and camping stoves by 800 percent.
"The crank radio sold out the same day as the announcement and now a customer came and asked for a large water can, which is also out of stock," says deputy store manager Sandra Öhlén.
Sold out in bulk
The outdoor store Tacticalstore in Åbyn, just outside Byske, shares the same view. But there is another product that has increased the most in sales.
"There has been a great demand for large packs of freeze-dried food. The largest packages sold out," says store owner David Wennersdahl.
