He recalled that Brussels is withholding large amounts of money intended for Hungary because it is "fighting for the sovereignty of the country."
At the same time, Slovakia itself would prefer more money in the European budget to combat illegal migration, the politician stressed.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban previously expressed the opinion that the European Union should financially support Ukraine, while avoiding damage to its own budget. He suggested using the EU's "extra-budgetary sources" for this purpose.
