"Last year, the investigative authorities sent to court 227 criminal cases on crimes of a terrorist nature against 280 persons," Bastrykin said.
He added that 34 cases concerned offences related to the financing of terrorism.
The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia also stressed that the Ukrainian special services are currently actively trying to conduct their subversive activities, not disdaining terrorist methods.
