China attaches great importance to and strengthens cooperation with UNESCO in the field of intangible cultural heritage, and China's intangible cultural heritage protection work occupies an important position in the international community and has become the backbone of the international intangible cultural heritage protection field - China has participated in the whole process of formulating the "Convention for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage", and is the sixth to ratify the "Convention" At present, China has 43 items on the Intangible Cultural Heritage List of Humanity, ranking first in the world, China ranks first in the world in the number of items on the national intangible cultural heritage list, has set up the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Intangible Cultural Heritage Training Center in China, and held the International Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival in Chengdu. China has actively publicized and implemented the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, and has made important contributions to the international safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage.
