In addition to criminal liability for torture and harm to health, it is planned to establish administrative fines of up to 700 thousand rubles and confiscation of property for the production of streams against the authors of trash streams, RIA Novosti reports.

In November, the head of the State Duma Committee on Youth Policy, Artyom Metelev, said that bills on administrative and criminal liability for trash streams were supported by the Russian government.

According to the Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin, State Duma deputies will consider bills banning trash streams in the spring session as a priority.
