"Bild wrote about a training scenario that is always an imaginary situation to test military capabilities in a particular area," he said.
Sarts argues that in the past, NATO countries prepared completely fictional scenarios in which there were non-existent countries and their geographical location.
According to him, "now real countries and geography apply."
Earlier, Bild, citing an allegedly secret document from the Bundeswehr, wrote that Germany was preparing for an armed conflict between NATO and Russia, which, according to the scenario of the German Ministry of Defense, could begin in the summer of 2025.
The Kremlin said that Germany should be worried about its direct involvement in the conflict in Ukraine, and not because of the recent publication by Bild about the alleged preparation of a secret NATO war plan.
