The Madrid Municipal Police have arrested five people in a fight between ultras of Rayo Vallecano B and RSD Alcalá de Henares who were left to hit each other yesterday afternoon before the match between the two teams, according to police sources.

The incident took place on Sunday at 15:45 p.m., less than an hour before kick-off at Rayo's training ground. About thirty people from the fans of the ultra-left Bukaneros gathered on Calle Real de Arganda and Calle Rayo Vallecano, armed with large sticks, glass bottles and bladed weapons.

The other radical group, the so-called far-right Alcalaínas Brigades, of between 30 and 40 people, gathered nearby and both groups clashed at Avenida de la Gavia number 4, near the sports city, in the district of Villa de Vallecas. As a result of the agreed confrontation, three people needed medical assistance for minor injuries.

Images recorded by neighbors show that the two sides threw chairs from a terrace, bottles and other objects that were in the street.

Agents of the Municipal Police first went to the place, who arrested five people, four from the Complutense fans and one from the Madrid fans. They are 30, 32, 36, 32 and 39 years old, and are charged with wounding and mob brawl. In addition, one of them was also charged because he had some cocaine with him.

Another arrested man was also reported for carrying a knife with a 6-centimeter blade and a wooden handle, which he threw at the scene. Another of those arrested, who needed medical assistance to receive stitches, was arrested after throwing beer cans and chairs from a nearby bar.

Agents identified about 50 people. One of them was found hiding a defense spray in her pants, for which she will be sanctioned in accordance with the Law of Citizen Security. In addition, a parked vehicle owned by a private individual unrelated to the brawl was damaged.

Finally, the agents, including riot police from the Municipal and National Police, seized 19 wooden sticks and several knives. The National Information Brigade is investigating the incident. More arrests are not ruled out.
