In early November, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced that Germany would deploy a Bundeswehr brigade in Lithuania for a long time.

Bundeswehr Colonel André Wüstner expressed the opinion that the formation of the brigade implies additional requirements for the army and the logistical part. According to him, Germany is currently unable to meet such requirements.
