Demonstrations in front of the US embassy in Indonesia to denounce US support for the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip (social media)
On Saturday, several Arab, Islamic and Western cities and capitals witnessed mass demonstrations in solidarity with Gaza and to condemn the continuation of the Israeli war on the Strip.
The pro-Palestine coalition in Britain called for global marches on Saturday in support of Gaza in more than 120 cities, among 45 countries around the world.
The upcoming demonstrations come as the International Court of Justice continues its deliberations on South Africa's case against Israel for genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, demanding an immediate end to Israel's 98-day war on the Strip.
Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation army has been waging a devastating war on Gaza, which has left 23,708 dead and 60,5 injured, most of them children and women, massive destruction of infrastructure and an unprecedented humanitarian disaster, according to the Gaza authorities and the United Nations.
Britain
In the British capital, London, marches and a major demonstration took place to demand an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, an end to the Israeli war on the Strip, the introduction of urgent aid into Gaza and accountability for Israel for crimes committed in the current war.
Demonstrators in Britain and the United States also demanded an end to the bombing of Yemen and support for Israel. British police have put the number of demonstrators at around 100,<> so far.

Germany
In Germany, a mass demonstration took place in the city of Munich, in solidarity with Gaza and to demand an end to the Israeli war.

In the German capital, demonstrators occupied Berlin's central station to stop the war on Gaza, and police arrested a number of demonstrators after beating them.

Dozens also demonstrated in the German city of Kiel to demand an end to the war and the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.

Sweden
A mass demonstration also took place in the Swedish capital, Stockholm, in support of Gaza and to demand an end to the Israeli war.

In The Hague, the Netherlands, hundreds of Palestine solidarity activists continued to demonstrate in front of the International Court of Justice to demand that Israel be tried for its crimes against civilians in the Gaza Strip.

Indonesia
Eighteen Indonesian cities also witnessed vigils and demonstrations in solidarity with the people of Gaza and condemnation of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip on the eve of its centenary day.
The protesters staged a large demonstration in front of the US embassy in the capital Jakarta at the invitation of community and religious organizations. They called on the U.S. government to stop supporting Israel's war on the Gaza Strip.
The city of Bandung, the capital of West Java province, the largest province of Indonesia, witnessed another demonstration, condemning the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation forces against the residents of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

On the African continent, mass demonstrations took place in various cities of South Africa to demand an end to the genocidal war carried out by the Israeli occupation army against civilians in the Gaza Strip.

Morocco
In Morocco, the Moroccan Commission for the Support of the Nation's Causes organized 113 demonstrations in 56 cities in the Kingdom, in support of Gaza, which has been suffering from war for more than three months.
The demonstrators chanted "No to the displacement of Palestinians" and condemned the continuation of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip amid official international silence.
