The Palestinian resistance inflicted heavy losses on the Israeli occupation army in Gaza (French)

On the 95th day of the aggression on the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army announced the death of 9 officers and soldiers and the injury of 27 others in the past 24 hours, and said that it had expanded its operations in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, while the resistance fought fierce clashes with its forces in the north.

At the same time, the occupation continued to target civilians in several areas in the Gaza Strip, leaving martyrs and destruction, and carried out new incursions into the occupied West Bank.

Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken began talks with Israeli officials on the next phase of the war, at a time when Tel Aviv said it was moving to reduce the pace of its operations in Gaza.

Heavy losses of the occupation

The Israeli occupation army announced on Tuesday that 9 of its officers and soldiers were killed and 27 others were wounded in the ongoing battles in Gaza, and said that it had expanded its operations in the southern Gaza Strip, while violent clashes broke out in the north.

The Israeli army acknowledged these additional losses in two batches, and said that officers and soldiers were killed during the past 24 hours in clashes in the central and southern Gaza Strip, where fighting is concentrated between the resistance and Israeli forces.

In addition to the nine dead, the Israeli military said 27 soldiers had been wounded in the past 24 hours in the Gaza Strip.

For its part, the Israel Broadcasting Corporation said that 5 of the dead soldiers were killed in the explosion of a truck containing explosive materials intended to destroy tunnels in Gaza, while Israeli media reported that 30 officers and soldiers were injured in the explosion.

This brings the announced number of Israeli military personnel killed to 191 since the start of the ground operation in Gaza on October 27, and brings the total to 519 since Operation Flood Al-Aqsa.

Operations for resistance

Abu Obeida, military spokesman for the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said, "Last week, the al-Qassam mujahideen destroyed 42 Israeli military vehicles in whole or in part and killed 22 soldiers from zero distance."

Al-Qassam had killed and wounded dozens of Israeli soldiers in 52 missions, in which Israeli forces were targeted with missiles and anti-bunker devices.

He confirmed that al-Qassam blew up a house, blew up four tunnel entrances and a minefield in the occupation soldiers, and fired a surface-to-air missile at a helicopter in the skies over the Gaza Strip.

The al-Qassam Brigades said it had thwarted an Israeli attempt to free prisoners after a special force infiltrated the Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Al-Qassam also announced that its fighters targeted an Israeli force with an anti-personnel device, killing and wounding it in Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Also in Khan Yunis, the brigades said they destroyed an Israeli Merkava tank with a "Yassin 105" shell, adding that the vehicle, which ranks among the most fortified tanks in the world and the most powerful in the battlefield, caught fire.

Hamas' military wing also announced that its operatives had sniped four Israeli soldiers with a ghoul al-Qassamiya rifle east of the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

For its part, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of Islamic Jihad, said that it shelled with mortar shells the headquarters of the field command of the occupation forces in the vicinity of Tabat "Al-Kurd" in the axis of progress northeast of Khan Yunis.

Raids on Gaza

Al-Jazeera correspondent reported that Israeli warplanes launched raids on the towns of Al-Zawaida and Al-Masdar and east of Al-Maghazi camp in the central Gaza Strip, and Israeli fighter jets launched a series of violent raids on Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Palestinian survivors who were trapped in the Martyr Mohammed al-Durra school in the Qizan al-Najjar area of Khan Yunis appealed to the Red Cross to intervene and retrieve five martyrs from the same family whose bodies are still inside the school, which houses displaced people.

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) said a shell hit a shelter in Khan Younis housing more than 100 staff members and their families.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza said that the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the central Gaza Strip received the bodies of 57 martyrs and 65 injured as a result of Israeli shelling during the past 24 hours, adding that about 126 Palestinians were killed and 241 injured during the past 24 hours.

The ministry also announced in a statement today, Tuesday, that the death toll as a result of the Israeli aggression on the besieged sector has risen to 23,210 martyrs, in addition to the injury of 59,167 others, since the seventh of October 2023.

Continuous escalation in the West Bank

Ismail Haniyeh, head of Hamas' political bureau, described what is happening in the West Bank as dangerous, and said that the enemy is abusing the people there, pointing out that the number of martyrs has reached more than 350 martyrs since the flood of Al-Aqsa.

Israeli media said security chiefs had warned Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that the West Bank was approaching a major escalation.

A Palestinian was shot dead by the Israeli army for allegedly attempting to carry out a stabbing attack in the West Bank, and the occupying forces launched new incursions into a number of towns and villages and arrested a number of Palestinians.

In a related context, 14 Palestinians were injured by Israeli bullets during their raid into the old Askar refugee camp, east of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, where the youths confronted the storming forces.

The people of Tulkarm mourned the bodies of 3 martyrs assassinated by the occupation forces, and the funeral procession of two of them started from the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in Tulkarm, while the body of the third martyr was laid to rest in Tulkarm.

Tensions on Lebanon's southern border escalated with the escalation of mutual shelling between Hezbollah and the Israeli occupation army, at a time when the Israeli military spokesman confirmed the assassination of the official of the Hezbollah air unit.

Al Jazeera correspondent said that an Israeli march targeted a car in the vicinity of the town of Ghandouria in Nabatieh province, killing 3 people.

On the other hand, Hezbollah announced that it had targeted with guided missiles a gathering of Israeli occupation soldiers in the vicinity of the Adamit barracks and had directly hit them.

Hezbollah also said it targeted with guided missiles "new espionage equipment" at the Israeli military site of Bayad Blida, and today also attacked the Israeli Malikiyah site off Lebanon's southern border.

The party also announced that it had targeted the Yiftach barracks, a gathering of soldiers near the Adamit barracks and the positions of al-Malikiyah, al-Baghdadi and Hanita.

Al-Jazeera correspondent reported that rockets were fired from southern Lebanon towards Israeli positions in the Shebaa farms and the occupied Kfar Shuba hills.
