Al-Qassam Brigades inflicted heavy losses on the occupation (Military Media of the Qassam Brigades)
The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced in a statement that it was able during the past week to destroy 42 military vehicles, and kill 22 Israeli soldiers from scratch.
Today, the Brigades said that their fighters managed to snipe 4 Israeli soldiers with the "Ghoul" Qassami rifle east of the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Al-Qassam fighters also managed to destroy two Merkava tanks with a Al-Yassin 105 shell south of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, which also targeted Israeli soldiers and vehicles with mortar shells.
The Bani Suheila area, east of Khan Yunis, witnessed the targeting of an Israeli foot force with an anti-personnel device, killing and wounding them.
Qassam fighters also clashed with an Israeli foot force with machine guns near the Kuwait junction, south of the Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza City.
The brigades, in cooperation with the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of Islamic Jihad, were able to target a gathering of the occupation forces south of Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City with mortar shells.
It confirmed that it targeted an Israeli force on foot with machine guns, killing and wounding its members near al-Sikka Street, south of the Zeitoun neighborhood.
As part of the operations announced by al-Qassam, it said that its fighters were able to seize an Israeli drone east of the Zeitoun neighborhood, and explained that the Sky Lark was on an intelligence mission east of the Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza City.
In the same context, Abu Obeida, spokesman for the Qassam Brigades, said in a statement that their fighters "managed during the past week to completely or partially destroy 42 military vehicles, and finish off 22 Zionist soldiers from scratch."
"They killed and wounded dozens in 52 different military missions, during which the invading Zionist forces were targeted with missiles, anti-bunker devices, personnel, machine guns and sniper weapons," he said.
Al-Qassam fighters blew up a house, blew up "four tunnel entrances and a minefield in enemy soldiers, and fired a surface-to-air missile at a helicopter in the skies over the Gaza Strip", Abu Obeida said, without specifying the location.
Qassam fighters also managed to "shoot down a Hermez 900 reconnaissance aircraft and seize a Skylark and two drones."
In a related context, Al Jazeera obtained footage showing members of the Qassam Brigades carrying out an ambush in an Israeli force south of the Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza City.
Al-Qassam said that its fighters killed and wounded members of an Israeli foot force, in addition to targeting a military vehicle that arrived to save the force.
The Al-Quds Brigades broadcast images of what it said was the targeting of an Israeli force holed up in a building in Khan Yunis.
