In an interview with CBS, Johnson stressed that Republicans who oppose additional financial aid to Ukraine are making it clear to the White House that the Biden administration is not being honest with citizens.
"What are we trying to achieve in Ukraine? What is our strategy? What is our goal? How are we going to exercise control over these precious taxpayer funds?" said Johnson, adding that the White House is leaving these questions unanswered.
Earlier, the speaker of the US House of Representatives said that the White House and the Senate were delaying aid to Ukraine.
