Al-Jazeera correspondent reported that late on Saturday, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the city of Tulkarm from its western axis, accompanied by a number of bulldozers, and headed to Nour Shams refugee camp, east of the city, located in the northern occupied West Bank.

The correspondent said that the occupation forces surrounded Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital and Zakat Hospital in the city, in addition to besieging the main entrances to the camp from the northern side, Nablus Street and Al-Nasr neighborhood west of the camp, while gunshots and successive explosions were heard.

This is the fourth incursion into Tulkarm in two weeks, as the occupying forces intensified their incursions into cities and towns in the occupied West Bank.

It is noteworthy that the Nour Shams refugee camp has witnessed bloody clashes with the occupation forces since October 7, which led to the death of 24 Palestinians.

On a daily basis, the Israeli army carries out raids on villages and towns throughout the occupied West Bank, accompanied by confrontations, arrests, shooting and tear gas canisters at Palestinians.

The incursions escalated on the backdrop of a devastating war waged by Israel on the Gaza Strip since October 7, which has left 21,672 martyrs and 56,165 injured, most of them women and children, in addition to massive destruction of infrastructure and an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe.
