Israeli soldiers captured at the beginning of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood (social media)

The 13th Battalion of the Golani Division revealed that 41 of its soldiers were killed on the day they called "Black Saturday," in reference to Operation "Al-Aqsa Flood" on October <>.

The battalion said seven fighters, including battalion commander Lieutenant Colonel Tomer Greenberg, were killed in what they called "one of the most difficult battles in the Gaza Strip," referring to the battle of the Shujaiya neighborhood on December 7.

The officially announced death toll of the Israeli army since the start of the ground operation in Gaza on October 27 reached 174 and 936 wounded, and the total number of its deaths since the Al-Aqsa Flood operation on October 502 rose to <>, between an officer and a soldier.

Since Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, the Israeli army has launched a devastating aggression on Gaza, leaving 21,672 dead and 55,<> injured, most of them children and women, massive destruction of infrastructure and an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe, according to the Gaza authorities and the United Nations.
