The warning is valid from 01 a.m. on New Year's Eve to 18 p.m. on New Year's Day. Traffic may be slower, especially in open landscapes, where snow has not been cleared or due to traffic accidents.

There is also a risk of delays in bus, train and air traffic as well as cancelled departures.

Areas with overhead power lines may be affected and, at a temperature close to zero degrees, cause disruptions to the electricity and telecommunications supply, according to the warning message issued.
