After emergency repair, all of them have been connected to the grid and adjusted, and the power station is running smoothly.

At 12:18 on December 23, a 59.6-magnitude earthquake occurred in Jishishan County, Linxia Prefecture, Gansu Province, with an epicenter depth of 2 kilometers. The epicenter of the earthquake is 10 kilometers and involves 50 townships and towns in Qinghai, of which some houses in Minhe County, Xunhua County, Hualong County and other places have collapsed, and local power lines and communication networks are being repaired. So far, the earthquake has killed 22 people in Gansu and Qinghai provinces.

Jishixia Hydropower Station is the fifth large-scale cascade hydropower station in the Yellow River Basin, with a total installed capacity of 102.33 million kilowatts, and is the backbone power point of the northern channel of China's "West-to-East Power Transmission", which undertakes the important task of peak regulation and frequency regulation in the Northwest Power Grid, with an average annual power generation of 63.<> billion kilowatt hours.

"The earthquake caused all three units of the Jishixia Hydropower Station to trip about 16 kilometers away from the epicenter, and the 330KV transmission line of the Mengqing line tripped, and after emergency repair, all three units were connected to the grid at 4:17, and the current power station is running smoothly to ensure the reliable supply of power in the earthquake area." Wang Yonggang, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the Jishixia Power Generation Branch of the Yellow River Company, said.

As of press time, the Yellow River Company's million-level installed hydropower station in the upper reaches of the Yellow River within 300 kilometers from the epicenter and other affiliated stations are in normal production, with no abnormalities in equipment, facilities and buildings (structures), and no injuries.
