Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani received on Wednesday in Doha Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdul Haiyan, where they reviewed the latest developments in the occupied Palestinian territories and ways to reduce escalation and ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

The Iranian foreign minister also met in his visit to Doha with the head of Hamas' political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, where Abdollahian said during the meeting, "The United States bears responsibility for the crimes committed against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, and stressed that his country continues its efforts to support the Palestinians and end the war and the siege on the Strip."

The Iranian minister pointed out that 75 days after "the beginning of the unprecedented crimes of the Zionists in Gaza and the West Bank, the heroic resistance is still invincible, and it is striving with all its strength to achieve its goals, which is the realization of the rights of the Palestinians."

"Despite the comprehensive assistance provided by the White House, the Zionist regime is desperate to face the dominoes of irreparable defeats after Oct. 7," Abdollahian said.
