The ambulance was taking the woman to the perinatal center, but at the intersection, the car did not give way, as a result of which a collision occurred. A few minutes later, the pregnant woman went into labor.
Doctors called an ambulance to the scene and began to deliver the baby themselves, and it was impossible to move the woman until the end of the child's birth. Ten minutes later, the patient gave birth to a baby girl.
"Her and her mother's condition is satisfactory. A second ambulance sent to the scene of the accident delivered a woman in labor and a newborn child to a medical facility," the report says.
Earlier, an ambulance driver died in an accident with a cement mixer in the Sverdlovsk region.
