The report notes that a criminal case was opened on the grounds of a crime under the article on causing death by negligence.
"According to the investigation, on December 13, 2023, a fire broke out in a private house located on Svetlaya Street in New Moscow. After the fire was extinguished, the body of a 13-year-old girl was found in the house," the press service of the department noted.
Investigators of the capital's Investigative Committee continue to work at the scene. The necessary examinations have been appointed, witnesses of the incident are being interrogated.
Earlier it was reported about two adults and a seven-year-old girl who died in a fire in the Moscow region.
