One person has died and five others have been injured in a traffic accident that has been caused by a vehicle driving in the opposite direction on the A-5 motorway (in the direction of Madrid), as it passes through the municipality of Santa Olalla (Toledo).
Specifically, the accident occurred at kilometre 83 of the A-5. A total of six cars have been involved. The 112, as reported to Europa Press, received the warning at 19:59 p.m.
As a result of the accident, one man has died and five people have been injured. All of them have been taken to the hospital. A 51-year-old woman, a 41-year-old woman and a 55-year-old man have been referred to Toledo. A 19-year-old and an 18-year-old have been transferred to the Talavera hospital.
In addition to the health services, the Civil Guard, the Santa Olalla firefighters and road maintenance have been transferred to the scene.
